20 years of saving lives, together.Thank you for your support!

It’s thanks to your support that we have been able to save lives for the past 20 years. We simply wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for the people who have raised awareness and donated their time, energy and money since the year 2000. Together we save lives.

Steampunk charity ball comes to Norwich in June

10 February 2020

Celebrate 20 years of saving lives with East Anglian Air Ambulance and attend the Norfolk Show Ball on Friday 26 June at the Norfolk Showground.

Join East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) for an amazing evening of fine food and entertainment to mark the charity’s 20th anniversary. The event will celebrate the incredible community which has made 20 years of saving lives across East Anglia possible.

Inspired by the 19th-century industrial era, the ball theme is ‘Magnificent Men and Women and their flying machines’, encouraging guests to get creative with the dress code and add a steampunk twist to the normal black tie.

This exclusive event will offer guests the opportunity to be amongst the first to hear how the charity has evolved over the past 20 years and its future plans, as it gets closer to launching a 24/7 service by helicopter from Norwich. Tickets will include a drinks reception on the lawn, followed by a four-course dinner alongside charity staff, crew and supporters.

Phillipa Levy, Special Events Fundraiser, said: “It’s a huge honour for the charity to have been selected as the beneficiary of the Norfolk Show Ball this year. Not only does the event help us to celebrate our 20th anniversary, but it also allows us to say thank you to the supporters and volunteers who have helped us to get here. We are especially grateful to our headline sponsor, Norwich Accountancy Services, for their generous support towards the event. We hope to welcome guests from across the whole EAAA community which will help us to make it a really special occasion.”

Tickets cost £75.00 per person. Table bookings are also available for groups of 8-12 people.
